Sitka and Studying.

Yuck final tomorrow! Should be either studying or sleeping but instead here I am writing and eating peanut butter cereal. Lame-o day today. Didn't get too much done. I went with Adam to buy a camera. He ended up with the Nikon D80 which I think is a pretty wise choice. (obviously since I was his advisor in the purchase) I'm excited to see what he does with it in the context of his school. I think I'll go shoot there one of these days to help him out and try my hand at sports photography.

Yesterday Davis and I went shopping for new clothes for him. I really want new clothes myself but the boy literally has one pair of jeans so it was getting to that point. His shoes were also falling apart. We got him some sweet laceless Chucks and a new pair of Reef sandals, 3 shirts and a pair of jeans. Of course, this all required a follow up photo shoot. (as does almost anything in life these days)





The second one I'm pretty sure Sitka is going to try to steal as their new ad campaign. They'll have to pay top dollar though, I can tell you that much.

So no new clothes for me but I got new sunglasses and I got my bangs cut differently. I'm going to go do my new wardrobe shopping soon but first I have tons of clothes to get rid of. The new bangs are a little crazy and I love them. I was going for a kind of Amelie feel. Any ideas for what I should do next with hair colour? My options are getting pretty limited as now there's who knows what under what I have now so I think I can only go dark for now. My awesome hairdresser is going to Cancun on Friday so it will have to wait till she gets back anyway.

Tomorrow night is Tongues of Fire. I haven't written anything as of yet but we will see. I'd like to get the handbills for my show printed beforehand but I also have that stupid final in the afternoon so we'll see if I have time.

I ordered some sweet Moo mini cards and some photo cards which should all be here in no more than 10 days. YAY! Ok, this is definitely a bit of a tangential post but hey...look on the bright side--I got to use the word tangential. (Twice in one sentence now.) It's like how my parents bought a Toyota Matrix and then my aunt and uncle did so I actually got to use the word "matrices" for a while which you don't often get to do. At least, not in my line of work. And...on that note and with the clock rapidly approaching 2 am I'm going to go try to get some sleep. You're all wonderful. Thanks so much for reading!
