Friday Night Live

So tonight was Seek Cover 2 at the Project art space on Fisgard which I previously didn't know existed. It was a very cool space and a very enjoyable night and Missie and I fully rocked out the stage! I was pretty impressed with us considering we just wrote the piece two days ago and hadn't had a lot of rehearsal time. We performed Dan Leaman's "All that is left" and a response to it and it seemed to go over really well. One of these times I'll actually get a performance videotaped so y'all can see it first hand. If you missed it you can see us performing with the slam team at the Solstice Festival for the Folk on Friday the 27th at Solstice.

Last night I photographed the improv show which was a lot of fun. It was featuring Narobov, one of Slovenia's leading improvisational groups. They were fantastic as were the impromaniacs as usual. Here are a few photos from the show.









Our friend Dave Morris was out from North Van for the show and he brought me presents of his new book of monster poetry and a disc of his recorded tracks. The boy is a super talented spoken word artist even though he does not identify himself as such.
