So apparently I can only manage one blog post a month guys. This is the reality of life. Alright, so mystery solved on the dropped Moo card. Brittney works at the Raven Pub in Deep Cove. (and has a tendency to drop things apparently) Now you know. Now you can sleep at night.

I just spent a very fun weekend in Vancouver. I had originally intended to go with Ava and then messaged my tattoo artist to see if he could touch up my tatt while I was there and he said he could if I went Thursday instead of Friday. So I went Thursday and ended up talking to him about my next tattoo I wanted to get and he was able to do it Sunday. So here it is...

Tatt2 the sequel.

I absolutely love it and especially the background ink which will flow nicely down into anything else I adorn my arm with. The other most exciting thing that happened for me in Van was bra shopping. If you have breasts I highly recommend you find some way to get to Change. There are a few locations in Van but I only know of the one on W. Broadway and the one in Metrotown. Anyway, it will Change your life. (pun intended but still true) I bought three matching sets of underwear and can't tell you the last time that was a possibility for me. I think I was probably 13 or 14.

So, for anyone who has been wondering where they can see me perform there are quite a few opportunities this month as I am just ridiculously scheduled for September starting this weekend. Here's where I'll be:

Sept. 6, 7:30- Solstice Cafe's 7th Birthday Jamboree (with the slam team)
Sept. 11, 7:30- Tongues of Fire Season Premiere! (at the door probably, but still very present)
*If all goes as planned, the summer edition of Sparks I'm editing should be out this night as well*
Sept. 18 7:30'ish- Detour Show (solo but perhaps with some guest performers)
Sept. 22 1:00- On UVIC radio, CFUV (interview and performance)
Sept. 24 1:00- On Shaw t.v. (promo spot, poetry in the raw, not sure when it will actually run)
Sept 25 7:30- Tongues of Fire
Sept. 29 Poetry in the Raw at the Victoria Events Centre (bonus: I'll be nude)

I'll keep you posted as anything else comes up and there should be some print articles as well about Poetry in the Raw/The Slam Team. Getting a job is obviously going to have to wait for October. Alright, that's all for now. Catch you cats on the flipside.
