Giant Update!

Life is good!

Davis and I went to look at a place yesterday and I think we're going to get it. The people who own the house and live in the upstairs are really cool and the house is in a beautiful area over by Mount Doug Parkway.

The weekend starting Thursday has been an absolute blast! Thursday was Tongues of Fire and it was so much fun. Ritallin (a.k.a. Greg) tore up the feature slot! We headed out afterwards to Garrick's Head as per usual for good times. At Tongues of Fire Missie asked me if I wanted to head over to Vancouver the next day for a burlesque show as part of the International Burlesque Festival. Of course I'm all about the spontaneous adventure so I agreed. We caught the 1:00 ferry across to Van and enjoyed it was a perfect day to head across to the mainland. We should have been wearing sunscreen though because we both got a little bit of a sunburn. We grabbed some Thai food on Commercial Drive and then headed over to Missie's friend's place where we were staying. It was a sweet place to stay and her friend was out of town so we had it all to ourselves. We hung out there for a while before heading to the burlesque show. The burlesque show was super fun! Missie and I are working on a plan to organize our own in the next while. I have some great burlesque names on a short list for myself including but not limited to such gems as Cherry Blossoms, Peach Blush and May Fire. If we go ahead with our awesome brainstorming you will not want to miss the show!

Saturday morning I was up at 6 running on only a few hours sleep to head back to beautiful Victoria. I was trying to get to catch the 9 o'clock ferry but that didn't quite happen. Luckily I meet some rad new friends on the bus who were also going to Victoria so I had some fun company and new people to laugh at my dumb jokes. Most exciting thing on the ferry ride was that we saw dolphins. I found it kind of rude that they announce the sighting of dolphins but not seagulls but such is the discrimination one has to deal with as a seagull I suppose.

The afternoon featured Juno's baby shower. I didn't know what to plan for a 16 year old's baby shower especially since she and her friends had never been to one so I went with one solid shower game (guess how much toilet paper is closest to the size of her belly) and then I bought white onesies and t-shirt paint so everyone could decorate one. Mine said "Rock out with your blocks out!" I named a photo of my niece, Sophia, that and thought I was going to be rich making onesies that said it but unfortunately after googling the phrase someone else had already thought it up. Damn.

I went out to Element with Steve and Greg and it was so fun(ny). We had a good time dancing and making jokes. It was a hilarious night! I didn't get to bed till waaaay early in the morning due to all the caffeine I had consumed in an attempt to forgo sleep. Sunday Greg and I adventured about town taking photos as I played the tour guide.

greg5

It was very cool to get to know him better; he's a wicked poet and I definitely feel like I can learn a lot from him. Greg really encouraged me to keep writing so I'm thinking I just might.

Today I went with Steve and Greg to Claremont and did a little performance. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet the fugitive peeps, Brendan McLeod and Barbara Adler who I think are so wonderful. It was good stuff but I got a killer headache during the show in the afternoon. We got Greg to the ferry with about 1 minute to spare. Wow...what a crazy weekend.

So my feature show is tomorrow and Kyra, one of my favourite people in the world, is going to be there for it! Kyra is just so funny and cool and it's so great whenever I get to see her. I am so stoked! So once again I'll be playing tour guide for the day tomorrow. Should be fun. Then Wednesday I am just going to sleep ALL day because I am not used to this much excitement! I hope I didn't overwhelm you guys with this big of an update but I believe you can handle it.

Update.

So my postcards arrived from moo today but not my mini moo cards yet. I'm going to take a photo once they're all here but I wanted to update you guys on this. You're welcome.

World Hunger

What we going to do about world hunger? Seriously. There is enough to go around if we can redistribute where our food goes. This page makes this point all too well. Please click the link and next time you go to the cupboard and try to decide what to eat think of a Haitian woman trying to scrounge up enough money to buy a cake made from dirt to quell her child's hunger.

Reading this article on the sad situation made me so angry. This paragraph:

"Charlene, 16 with a 1-month-old son, has come to rely on a traditional Haitian remedy for hunger pangs: cookies made of dried yellow dirt from the country's central plateau."

is interrupted for an ad by Dr. Pepper. Indulge yourself at drpepper.com. Diet Dr. Pepper...there's nothing diet about it. Does anyone get the irony that we are buying calorie free pop while people in the world are eating dirt cookies? I don't really know what I can do to help either short of stuffing my pockets with food and hopping on a plane to Haiti. I think what we probably need to be doing is writing letters to our government letting them know that world hunger is a priority for us. I say cancel the Olympics and spend those millions upon millions of dollars on fighting world hunger. I say American presidential candidates stop spending so much on your attack campaigns on each other and feed people. I say let's stop feeding all of our food to livestock and give it to people.

Even people who would never have thought about going vegetarian are considering it because it does not make sense in context of world hunger. Even if you don't care about animal rights, cut back on your meat consumption for the good of humanity and the earth. I'm not usually so preachy with my beliefs on the way we should be eating but people are starving so we can eat burgers. The economics of meat just don't work out. Please think about at the very least cutting back.

Ok, I'm done. I realize this probably isn't very well written or organized but at this moment I'm feeling quite overwhelmed by the amount of people, children in particular, starving everywhere in the world right now. I'm trying to make the shift from guilt to appreciation for what I have and find out what I can do to help but sometimes it is so overwhelming. Ok, now I'm really done.

Passover and Pin-up Photograpy

First of all...not super stoked that my mini moo cards still haven't arrived and we're on day EIGHT of five to seven working days. They better be here by the end of the week!

Next, a quick blurb about the passover dinner at Courtney's house. It was such a wonderful evening with friends and wine and food and reflection on what we have and those who are suffering. It was a very balanced and socially just seder which tons of vegan options for us and it was just wonderful to be a part of. Here are a couple pics.

Passover the wine!

On to last night. Last night I went to Missie's house for a little pin up photo shoot. I've never done boudoir photography but it was definitely something I've wanted to. I think the experiment turned out really well and I'm thinking of going into business doing little sessions with women who want sexy photos for the husband or boyfriend etc. What some photographers do is book a nice hotel room for a night and then book back to back portrait sessions and if you get a hairdresser/makeup artist on staff as well you can charge a good amount of money for that type of work. Anyway, Missie got to be the guinea pig so she got my services for free. She was a great subject to work with--really comfortable (the wine may have helped) and she was totally willing to move around a lot so we got a lot of different feels. Let me know how you think they turned out.

I'll just close my eyes while you wave goodbye

Meanwhile...

So if you or someone you know what to book a portrait session with me, boudoir or otherwise book now while I am still building my portfolio and I will give you a killer deal.

Fishy shoes.

A pic of my sweet new Converse All Stars...as promised.

Hey now, you're an allstar!

School's out for summer!

So I'm going to break my weekend up into a couple posts because otherwise it will be like a novel. I'm going to start with Friday Saturday and I'll come back later to write about last night. Deal? Deal.

Friday night was super not exciting. I stayed in to study for my child development psychology exam. I was back at my usual preparedness the day before an exam for an online class. Meaning...I hadn't listened to any of the audio classes, which are an hour long and which there were about 9 of. So I spent all day Friday listening to those and working on a paper and then I was up at 6 to finish the paper and my studying. I already got my marks back and I didn't do great on the test which I wasn't really expecting to since I didn't really have time to review any of the material. I got 73% which is not great for me but I finished with an A in the class so I'm fine with it. I got a B in my other psych. class which I am totally fine with because I only did about half of the labs and quizzes that we got marks just for doing regardless of our grade on them. I just wasn't into school this semester. I would rather be writing or...anything but in a classroom.

Speaking of writing. The insanely talented Joe McDougall sent me a new poem he had just finished last night. I was the first person he had read it and it felt so much stronger because I was the first one experiencing it. Since it's not finished and not mine I can't share the whole thing with you but I just want to put the tiniest excerpt from it so you can understand how amazing this kid is with words...

So when the time comes
that I leave unsung
just know that the wind has
blown me from its lungs as though
fate is just a vagabond with wrinkled eyes
on the side of a highway smoking
and drinking gas station coffee, see,

I've always taken to the wind.
--Joe M.

Yeah...wow. The whole piece actually brought tears to my eyes and *that* is hard to do. I really hope he performs it soon. I wish you could hear the whole thing. I'm going to put together a post of my favourite lines from my favourite local poets soon. It could take a while though because there are so many I love.

Ok...where were we? Oh yes, Saturday after the exam. Davis and I went to Mo:le to celebrate my classes being done. It was delicious as usual. Then I met up with Brittany and Shannon to go adventuring for costumes for the Work Less Party masquerade ball we were going to that night. I ended up not buying anything for the ball but I did buy a sweet pair of Chuck's that I'm going to put a picture up of later.

Brittany and I decided in the interest of being cheap and creative to make dresses out of white plastic bags and use accessories out of anything garbage like and label our costumes "white trash". We caused quite an uproar traipsing around town in our little outfits.

White trash ballerina.

The night was just way too much fun. Danielle came also, she was a peacock although I didn't manage to get many photos of her because I didn't bring my real camera, just a little point and shoot and the batteries died. I'll try to get one up here later because I have a few, just not on flickr. So the ball was super fun although we got tired by midnight since we were up so early. It was the first Work Less Party party held in Victoria and I think it was a tremendous success. If you aren't familiar with the Work Less Party you should definitely check out their website. They are registered now at a civic, provincial and federal level as an official political party. The music was great and everyone was so into it. There were a lot of really great costumes and it was a great place to dance and such a relief to be able to go out and not get hit on or gawked at like when we go to the bar.

Well, despite my omission of Sunday this has still turned into a pretty long post. I'm going with Juno now to pick out a car seat for the baby and then I have to clean the demolished kitchen from last night's rushed potluck preparation. Fun times! Then I might have a nap...

Stay tuned for another upcoming post about last night's sedar (passover dinner) at Courtney's house which was a wonderful evening.

Sleep sucks man...

Sleep does not come easy these days. It is an elusive lover playing hard to get. Well, two can play at that game sleep. I have vacated the bedroom and now you must come and find me. I have tired of your manipulation and refuse to subject myself to it any longer.

I've decided to become a flight attendant. This is because Alex is flying to Japan tomorrow for approximately $87 because his dad works for an airline. I want to fly for free. Also, I want more than anything to offer tiny bags of snacks to people. If I work for West Jet I also get to sing and make jokes. What more could I ask of a job? It's a shame the days of the cliche stewardess are over because I would love to have big hair. So...I don't think I'll apply tomorrow but in about six months or so I hope to be sitting in an interview telling them to hire me because I look so good in polyester it hurts.

What a stupid day. I did get a lot of cleaning done and spent a good two hours out with Davis and Alex at the off-leash park with Caleb and Abby so it's not all a waste. The thing is I've had this headache on and off throughout the day. And more on than off. Tomorrow I have a final which I can take Saturday morning instead if I don't feel ready. I probably won't feel ready. I also have to hand a paper in then so...doesn't look good.

I wrote a paper for someone for money last week. What's anyone's opinion on that? Does it make you mad or do you give me mad props? I say, we're all just buying our grades anyway and at Camosun you pretty much get a C just for handing something in even if it's just a crayon drawing. (You get bumped to a B for having your name on it and one word, any word, spelled correctly.) I probably shouldn't write on my blog that I did that but I don't think it's actually against the rules for me to write a paper, just for her to hand it in with her name on it. I guess we'll see. It was on Hamlet in case you're wondering. I didn't even know they taught Hamlet in college level English classes; I thought that was straight up grade eleven.

That's about all I have to say. It's now 12:30 and hopefully I'll get to sleep soon although it's not looking good. I could start studying now but I feel like that's just too obvious an option. I'd rather not have enough time and be really stressed about it. That's kind of my style.

Oh...hopefully my mini moo cards are here tomorrow with my cute little mini moo card holder! If not tomorrow then Monday but I reaaalllly want them tomorrow. Alright, now I'm REALLY going to bed!

Poetry hangover?

I woke up this morning with a headache. If I had been drinking last night I would take it as my penance but I didn't have a sip of alcohol. I drank a rootbeer but it was caffeine free and sweetened with cane sugar. This just doesn't seem fair. So when I have a headache I usually go to sleep but I just got up. It's quite the dilemma. (Is it just me or is dilemma a weird word?)

I'll keep you posted on the headache situation but it's most likely that I'll end up back in bed. I pledge to all of you now though, my loyal readers, that I will get some cleaning done around my house today. Hold me to that. Thanks.

These words...

I wrote this for my website. I'm not sure if it's done yet...

"These words are made of magic. They drip from my lips constantly. I want to share them butI should warn you-- they are unpredictable. These words will catch in your throat and choke you. These words will grab you from behind when you're least expecting it. Worst of all, they might stroke your cheek so softly that you will fall in love instantly. "

Also, check out the awesome bio I wrote for the awesome Joe McDougall. He's one of my favourite local poets and he's only 16! So crazy.

Oh, and I got third in the slam competition tonight! Missie and I came really close to each other which is ridiculously awesome because she's amazing! I'm happy with that since it was my first time competing but next time I will do pieces I have rehearsed a bit more than my new one. Well, I'm going to eat a few more seaweed flavoured rice cakes and then go to bed.

Website!

Hey look! I'm making a webpage. I'll eventually move it over to my new domain since it links back here but I'll wait till I can make it a bit better. Let me know what you think!

Poetry is my sleep.

I just realized Davis left a comment on one of my posts that says...

"You should get a robot tatooed on your back, holding the guns. Maybe also smoking a cigar? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and a robot will smoke it.

Could you please make the robot look smug."

No wonder I love him.

I was working on a piece in my head and had to get up for a few to make some notes so I don't forget it. It definitely isn't done but here's the work in progress. I don't know how to end it and none of it is done but I think it has potential as a slam piece. You have to imagine it out loud.

Cherry

For some reason we love to equate the end of a relationship with something being broken. He broke her heart--they broke up--she broke his guitar. But I'm starting at the end so let me back up to the beginning for a minute...

Cherry had been born boring and bored. Imagine her mother in the throes of labour thinking about which floral wallpaper would go best with her new mahogany buffet, trying to pretend that nothing messy was happening to her vagina. Cherry probably came out yawning and demanding to be taken to London for high tea. Knowing Cherry's mother Immaculate Conception seemed as likely as the alternative which is sex that could only have sounded like a grocery list. An orgasm that probably went something like..."Oh yeah, right there, mmmm...remind me tomorrow we're almost out of milk...yeah..."

Inspired by her mother’s love of soft pink blossoms you'd still hope Cherry's name might’ve given her a little edge. You're probably picturing a 40's pin-up girl with jet-black hair, big tits, cuffed jeans and red sling-back heels. You might like to imagine she walks around snapping her fingers to jazz music only she can hear. You're on the right track, now just picture the opposite. That's not to say that she wasn't an attractive girl. Only that this is a book you can judge by its cover.

So yes, they broke up. And yes, she did break his guitar and good for her because no, he did not break her heart; it was broken to start. Instead when he left he broke Cherry herself-- shattering a grown woman into a thousand pieces of beige, oatmeal, sand, taupe. Beige, oatmeal, sand, taupe. Varieties of plain.

But by now you know that Cherry had gone through life up until this point yawning most of the time so I need to tell you that brokenness...is not always a bad thing. Some of us enter the world like plain white paper and never get scribbled on. Some of are like mushrooms and we only grow when we're in shit. So we need to start looking at endings as beginnings and mistakes as chances to become what we're afraid of and see that it is only when we're in pieces that we have a chance to rebuild. (....And then a really awesome ending. Any ideas between now and tomorrow would be greatly appreciated.)

Dani is 20!

So yesterday was Dani's birthday and it was a lot of fun. We went and got our hair done and I got such a slamming style.
My hair

More sweet hair...

I was pretty happy with it. I got some great shots throughout the night. Such as...

Absolutely.

It's a topsy turvy world.

I've never been that lucky.

and...
I'll be there soon.

What beautiful friends I have. I had such an amazing time celebrating Danielle's birthday with her. She is one of my closest friends ever and I feel so comfortable around her. Happy birthday Dani! Love you heaps!

Tomorrow is the poetry slam and I was hoping to compete but there's no way I'll be ready. Bummer. I might perform anyway just to see how that goes but I'll have to put a lot of work into shortening a couple of my pieces to three minutes.

That's about all I have to say for now...just wanted to show off some photos. Ok, goodbye now.

I remembered...

Something has needed to be said for a while here...

I have to point out that I hate it when people pronounce the word vegan as VAY-gun. I say it VEE-gun and I think everyone else needs to get onboard. I think it`s like a SKE-dule vs. SSSH-edule debate in which neither is wrong but one is ridiculous. I don`t know any Canadian Vegans who pronounce it VAY-gun just people who aren`t vegan so I don`t think it counts. That`s all I have to say about that.

Strawberry Shortcake, Huckleberry Pie...who`s gonna` be my lucky guy?

Potluck tonight! I just sent Davis out to get ingredients for me. The potluck is at my new friend Michelle`s house and I think it should be heaps of fun. Davis is going to Colin`s birthday tonight so Danielle will be my beautiful date. I`m making pasta salad, garlic rosemary potatoes and chocolate cream pie. I realize these things don`t go together but that`s the beauty of a potluck. I also try to stay away from anything that is like meat when I`m taking food somewhere with a lot of non-vegan people. Also, I`m feeling lazy.

I had a great time being silly with Janice yesterday. Despite the fact that she is over 30 she still has so many amazing toys including almost the whole set of Strawberry Shortcake dolls. They were super fun to photograph.

Cafe Ole with Burrito Burro
Cafe Ole from Mexicocoa with her pet, Burrito Burro

Angel Cake
Angel Cake from Cakewalk

Girls just wanna have fun.
Angel Cake, Apricot and Lemon Meringue...I believe. Janice will correct me if I`m wrong.

Thursday was Tongues of Fire and it was a great night! (Yes, I`m for some reason writing this in reverse chronological order) Ryefield and Ian Ferrier were both featuring. I spent a couple hours before the show helping Rye prepare which was a lot of fun and definitely paid off as he killed in his performance. I ended up reading a piece even though I wasn`t planning on it because Ian asked me to and I couldn`t think of a good reason to not get behind a microphone. Everyone knows how much I love the sound of my own voice. Once I`m all done school for the semester I`m really going to get to work writing some new stuff.

Well, that`s about it for now. If I think of anything interesting I`ll come back. Love you all!

Look what I made...

Look what I made

Sitka and Studying.

Yuck final tomorrow! Should be either studying or sleeping but instead here I am writing and eating peanut butter cereal. Lame-o day today. Didn't get too much done. I went with Adam to buy a camera. He ended up with the Nikon D80 which I think is a pretty wise choice. (obviously since I was his advisor in the purchase) I'm excited to see what he does with it in the context of his school. I think I'll go shoot there one of these days to help him out and try my hand at sports photography.

Yesterday Davis and I went shopping for new clothes for him. I really want new clothes myself but the boy literally has one pair of jeans so it was getting to that point. His shoes were also falling apart. We got him some sweet laceless Chucks and a new pair of Reef sandals, 3 shirts and a pair of jeans. Of course, this all required a follow up photo shoot. (as does almost anything in life these days)

Double D.

Chilling.

The second one I'm pretty sure Sitka is going to try to steal as their new ad campaign. They'll have to pay top dollar though, I can tell you that much.

So no new clothes for me but I got new sunglasses and I got my bangs cut differently. I'm going to go do my new wardrobe shopping soon but first I have tons of clothes to get rid of. The new bangs are a little crazy and I love them. I was going for a kind of Amelie feel. Any ideas for what I should do next with hair colour? My options are getting pretty limited as now there's who knows what under what I have now so I think I can only go dark for now. My awesome hairdresser is going to Cancun on Friday so it will have to wait till she gets back anyway.

Tomorrow night is Tongues of Fire. I haven't written anything as of yet but we will see. I'd like to get the handbills for my show printed beforehand but I also have that stupid final in the afternoon so we'll see if I have time.

I ordered some sweet Moo mini cards and some photo cards which should all be here in no more than 10 days. YAY! Ok, this is definitely a bit of a tangential post but hey...look on the bright side--I got to use the word tangential. (Twice in one sentence now.) It's like how my parents bought a Toyota Matrix and then my aunt and uncle did so I actually got to use the word "matrices" for a while which you don't often get to do. At least, not in my line of work. And...on that note and with the clock rapidly approaching 2 am I'm going to go try to get some sleep. You're all wonderful. Thanks so much for reading!

Brought to you by the letter G

I'm studying for my experimental psychology final which is Thursday so I don't have a lot of time to blog. I just wanted to share this tidbit from my psych. review today.

"Who can tell me what the 'g-factor' is?"

...silence...

"Well...it's different than a g-spot. As a matter of fact, that will be one of the questions on the exam. What is the difference between 'g-factor' and 'g-spot'?"

I love John Conklin. Alright, back to studying.

Pets and poetry.

So my pets are way too cute for me not to do a liiiittle bit of animal photography. Caleb and Frankenstein play (read:fight) all the time and I had to capture it for posterity and so I could share with you how funny it is.
So not impressed.
The look on Frankie's face is just way too funny to me. And then there's our kitten...
The lady is a tramp.

And all that jazz.

Pretty cute no? That's what I thought. Adam Zugec and I went to Camera Trader's today to check out a couple DSLR's because his point and shoot is just not cutting it for his photos of his MMA school. It was so funny. We walked in to look at the Nikon D100 which is a little older but would've been fine for what he needs it for. Someone was looking at it and they bought it so then we started talking about the D80 and someone bought that. It was really funny and felt like some kind of a sign.

I studied with Michelle from Impromaniacs this morning and that was a lot of fun. We got off topic a lot but I made it through at least one chapter of psychology. Tonight I have a Foster Parent's Society (or something) AGM but I'm just going for the door prizes. I better win something.

A friend wrote this for me and I love it...

"poetry and music
rising from your noble shoulders
perfume giving light to something... darker"

That's all.

Chai Tea and Tai Chi.

This just in: I am now officially at www.handgunhearts.com. Yay! So...update on the shopping trip yesterday. I got some mechanical lights for photography which is a great deal because they were only $12! Only downside is that once I got home and set them up (and by set them up I mean asked Davis nicely to set them up) I realized their cords are literally so short you can't even set them down on the ground. Therefore, an additional purchase of extension cords is in order so I can be a little more in control of where the light goes.

We did also find some pretty freaking sweet toys at Value Village, including but not limited to these terrifying dolls which cost me about $1.40 each because I had a coupon for 30% off. That's right...a coupon for Value Village...that's about as ghetto as it gets people! Oh yeah...here are the creepy new dolls- Tiffani and Amber Thiesen.

Tiffani...with an i.

We all want something we can't have.

Cherry was born boring and bored.
Pretty terrifying hey? The barbie car cost the same as the dolls. ($1.99 plus 30% off holla!) I love them. I also found a couple really cute dolls at Oscar and Libby's on Fort St. and bought some card boxes from the dollar store to use as backdrops.

This is "Smiling".
Now you only cry at sad movies and on busses.
She likes gingerbread and tap dancing.

This is "Giggles".
When you die, this will be worth something.
She likes jam tarts and ornithology.

We were supposed to go for breakfast with Sean and Lyle today but it just didn't happen. We went out dancing to Lucky bar last night and we were pretty tired this morning so didn't realize my phone was off until 11:30. Lucky was not that fun last night. It was really rowdy and we kept getting rammed into by people on the dance floor. Britt and I were trying to dance together and kept having random groups of guys dancing around us looking at each other as if to say "Yeah, we're dancing with these girls...awesome!" But...no...you're not and this isn't fun. So, we left Lucky at about 12:30 and came back to the house. Davis even came out and Danielle & Ryan came too.

I'm going to end this with a quote from one of my favourite poets, Derrick Brown. If you haven't checked out his website do it now! I'm not even joking. You'll love it so much, even if you don't like poetry, the intro is so freaking funny!

Oh yeah...the quote...

"I want to skew the difference between Chai Tea and Tai Chi and end up drinking a tall glass of graceful force." --Derrick Brown.

Tattoos and Robots

For those who haven't seen it yet. Here's my awesome new tatt! I super much love it!
Smoking guns.

Davis and I are going thrift store shopping to look for some fun photo props today and see what we can find so hopefully I'll have some good stuff to post on flickr soon. I also have this awesome robot to do something with. Jeff loaned him to me and I'm trying to come up with something awesome to do with it.

Neil.

I think I'm obsessed with little tin wind up toys now. I saw some bunny wind up toys online that I want to try to find because I can see some awesome pics of them in the grass/flowers. Anyway, I'll report back as to what I come up with.

Huzzah.

What's up everybody? I have SO much school work to do! Yay! I just wanted to pop in to let everyone know that I have a feature gig coming up. (That's right...I just used to word gig...and what?) I'm sure most of you know this because you're on Facebook but if you live too far away from me I was probably polite enough to not invite you so you may not know. It's pretty exciting. Here is the poster for handbills--let me know what you think!

Wow...the world gets a little more amusing every day. A man was arrested for having sex with his picnic table. This is real life people! A man was arrested for having sex with his PICNIC TABLE. No...not rape charges...I'm pretty sure it was consensual. The charge was public indecency. So close to an elementary school! Was this in his front yard? I'm confused but love that this news story starts at a playground.

I like that the neighbour thinks he shouldn't be let out of jail because he could do it again. If you were caught having sex with a TABLE and it was all over the internet and your neighbours all knew...I'm not thinking the odds of you doing that again would be all that likely.

***In a shocking update, it turns out the table is pregnant!***
